Hey guys. I don't know who you are, but I stumbled upon you on Soundcloud, and well... frankly, I think you guys are incredible. Welcome Home is a beautiful song, as well as In Our Sleep and Too Young. And I'm just on the first albulm! Keep it up; you guys kick ass. :)
Many thanks! Spread the word and keep checking back for new music!
My dad and I really like Chris Paul, so he recorded that little clip of him going home for me. I heard the song "welcome home" on there and immediately fell in love with it. My new favorite song! It did take me a while to find it but I just bought and downloaded y'alls new album. I'm going to spread the word for sure and I have a feeling y'all are about to blow up. I'm a firm supporter! masoncgragg @ gmail
We had an absolute blast playing at Brite Winter Fest. It was very inspiring being around people who love Cleveland and see all the potential that it has. As Clevelanders, we were especially riled up and excited for the event, and it was so satisfying to see it all come to fruition. Playing at Bon Bon was a very unique experience with all the excited festival goers right up in our faces, bobbing their heads and moving to our music; I couldn’t remember a show like that one in the recent past. Whoever was running the sound did a fantastic job, and any musician or person who’s ever performed on a stage knows, good sound usually means a good night.
Thanks to everyone who watched us perform and consequently checked us out afterward, we pay attention to that “like” number, and it was nice to see it pop up a little bit! It’s amazing to see people’s reactions to our music and know just by their faces that we are doing something right. Just to hear the stomping of feet on hard wood, or the echo of clapping hands, creates an indistinguishable feeling of excitement that fuels the urge to keep on writing and playing.
Please stay tuned in to this site, our facebook, twitter, etc… for future exciting news! We’re getting ready to get some of these new songs down, and we can’t wait for you all to hear them!
Hey everyone (or people who read this), if you checked out our upcoming shows, we got some regional dates in Philly, NY, Lexington and a few in between. We’re really excited, but our two main options for transportation fell through! We’re not reeeeal excited about that part. If anyone has a crappy van we can drive to venues over the course of six days, perty please send us an email or respond on here.
We had a blast playing at the Weapons of Mass Creation fest! It’s going on until Sunday, so head over to the Gordon Square District on the west side and check out the rest of the bands, designers and speakers.
But rest assured, there is reason for this absence. We’ve been working on a few songs for a soon coming digital release. We’re pretty sure we won’t be playing Fallon or Jools Holland any time soon, but we’re happy to have the fans we do supporting us at shows! We love you guys and hope you’re excited for the new stuff!
Radio 92.3 did a short article on the 18th show at the Grog Shop and used our picture! Also check out a track listing and write-up about the Cellar Door compilation. Click above to see the article. There are tons of great Cleveland artists on board this year!
Hey everybody, we were confirmed today as the main support for Colour Revolt (http://colourrevolt.net/) on February 18th at The Grog Shop and we couldn’t be more excited! They are a great band and a strong musical influence on us and we can’t wait to play this show.
Thanks to everyone who came to The Root Cafe last night! We had fun interrupting the kind people of Lakewood’s quiet coffee time. Thanks to Totty and the whole staff for being so accommodating to us. Next time you’re in Lakewood, definitely go check out The Root Cafe, it’s an awesome place!
Don’t forget about our show at The Beachland Tavern this Wednesday, January 26th with Dave Hammer’s Power Supply and Vanity Theft, it’s bound to be fun filled and jumpy.
The times have changed since the golden age of music, where all you needed to do was save up enough money, go to the recording studio, record a single, and you had guaranteed airplay if your song was decent. Nowadays, it’s all up to the artist. You have to make things happen for yourself: Record your own demos, book your own shows, screen print your own merch… This fact is bittersweet as much more effort is needed by the artist to produce things that people want to hear. Also necessary is traveling to play shows so that people can hear you and make a personal connection with your music.
We’ve had our first experience in this, having gone out on our first weekend tour a few months ago. It was a great experience indeed. We formed relationships with some great people and had a good time playing the shows, but we need your help. It’s not very efficient taking multiple cars to play shows regionally or even nationally, as gas money compiles rather quickly. If you or ANYONE you know has access or any knowledge of a mini van, conversion van, or twelve passenger van, PLEASE let us know!!! It’s a huge step forward to have a traveling vehicle as it will help us play shows all around the country. We want to spread the word about our music to as many people as we can!
Please let us know via email - firstname.lastname@example.org or post something on our facebook page or twitter page, anything to let us know about possible vehicles that we can use or purchase for a good price.
